This tour includes a visit to Table Mountain (Table Mountain ticket for your own account), Signal Hill, Table Bay, District 6, the Malay Quarter and a host of other attractions that make Cape Town one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

Allow us to take you on an historical journey through the joys and sorrows that have shaped the formation of this cosmopolitan city into what it is today. From the Castle of Good Hope and Grand Parade, the Slave Lodge, the Company Gardens and Houses of Parliament through to the present day Townships, they all tell their story regarding the development of this city known as the “Gateway to Africa”. Table Mountain & Cableway Car* (weather permitting), Signal Hill, Atlantic Sea-Board, Camps-Bay, Clifton, Sea-Point, Green-Point, V & A Waterfront, Craft-Markets, City Centre, Museums, The Castle & Grand Parade, District Six, Bo-Kaap, Cape Malay Quarter, Company Gardens, St Georges Cathedral, Greenmarket Square, (Closed on Sundays) & other craft markets. Itinerary After departing the hotel we enjoy a scenic coastal drive through Clifton to see how the steep cliffs plunge into the Atlantic. Magnificent mansion homes hang from the cliff-side! We drive through Sea Point, past the Cape Town Stadium and through V & A Waterfront to the city centre where we visit Green Market Square. We stretch our legs with a walk through the Company Gardens under the shade of 160 year old trees. The tour continues with a drive past the Houses of Parliament, the City Hall, The Castle and Slave Lodge, before entering the "Bo Kaap", also known as the Malay quarter. The architecture in this area is typical of what Cape Town was like 200 years ago. From there we join the fascinating Diamond and Tanzanite experience at Jewel Africa. Discover the secrets of Diamonds, Tanzanite and other authentic African Treasures. You will be dazzled by the diamond tour where we learn about the history of these sparkling gems. You will be offered the option of being dropped off at the Table Mountain cable station, or you may prefer to return to your hotel. Table Mountain is one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. You can purchase your cable car ticket (+/- R380*) to reach the summit (weather permitting). After enjoying the spectacular views and possibly some refreshment at your leisure, you can make your own arrangement to return to your hotel. Participant Guidelines: * Table Mountain aerial cableway return ticket (±R380) is for your own account. The reason that we do not include this is because the cable car is often closed on account of the weather, this allows flexibility and avoids the need for refunds.
