Villa Montebello is a Four Star Guest House, ideally located on the heights of Mount Rhodes in Hout Bay. It offers magnificent views on the Bay and the lush green valley of Hout Bay, which is considered as one of the most beautiful sights of the Cape Peninsula.
From the elegant and luxurious settings of our house, you will be able to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Twelve Apostles and Constantia mountains and of the Ocean. Villa Montebello is located in a particularly quiet environment, secure and away from the city and it’s stressful living, offering you the perfect setting to unwind and relax.
Comfort
Villa Montebello will do their best to provide you with the best during your stay. In the morning, you will enjoy a buffet-style breakfast (English or Continental) served on the terrace, facing the sun and overlooking Constantia mountains.
After, you can relax next to the pool, surrounded by a beautiful garden full of flowers and overlooking the bay of Hout Bay. From the house, you can also go for a hike in the Natural Park of Mount Rhodes, which borders the property, even going up safely to the top of the mountain to take in the most magnificent panoramic view of the area.

Nia and François will make sure that you have everything that you could possibly want. Sit back and relax or soak up the sun on a wooden lounger next to the swimming pool, with its tranquil rockery and waterfall.
For breakfast you are offered a full buffet and the choice of enjoying your breakfast out on the patio as you admire the beautiful views. The Villa Montebello borders on a nature reserve - if you are feeling energetic, take a wander up the mountain slope to find an even better outlook!

Early arrivals and late departures can be arranged on request and whenever possible.
Children policy:
All children are welcome. Children are for free under 5 years old. Baby cots are available for all rooms (except Cottage Room). Between 5 and 12 years old R 300 will be charged. All children over 12 will be considered adults.

Other Disclosures:
Triple occupancy is possible in the Rhodes Suite and in the Mountain Room. The 3rd adult will be charged with a 50% reduction.
- Cancellation within 15 days will be charged 100 % of full cost of stay
- Cancellation between 15 and 21 days will be chrged 75% of full cost of stay
- Cancellation between 22 and 30 days will be charged 50% of full cost of stay
