Originally built as the harbour master’s private residence in the 1800’s, this grand architectural gem has been transformed into one of Cape Town’s most exclusive and elegant boutique hotels.
Understated grace meets contemporary-classical style and glamour. From groomed gardens surrounding the slick outdoor swimming pool and bar area, to the well-appointed interior, which boasts five plush bedrooms, a spacious suite, an elegant morning room and a private library.

Dock House Boutique Hotel & Spa has its own private kitchen and Chef offering guests a tantalising selection of epicurean delights. Delectable breakfasts are served daily in the bright and elegant morning room, which is also an ideal venue for hosting private meetings throughout the day.
Guests are welcome to utilise our exclusive and attentive in-room dining service which is available every evening. The sophisticated dinner menu is designed to impress the most discerning of palates.
Al fresco dining is also offered in the sophisticated Dock House pool area, which boasts its own bar. The well-known gourmet restaurants, Salt Restaurant and Bar and OYO Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, are affiliated to Dock House Boutique Hotel & Spa.
In addition to our in-house kitchen we also have four sister restaurants conveniently located in close proximity to the hotel.

Policies and Other Information
No guaranteed late departures and they will not be confirmed prior to the day of departure.
Children policy:
- Children of all ages are most welcome at the Dock House
- Children under 2 years sharing with adults are accommodated on a complimentary basis free of charge in a cot
- Children over the age of 2 and under 12 (maximum of 1) per room sharing with adults pay a children under 12 rate
- We recommend that children over the age of 16 be accommodated in a in a seprate room - charged per room per night
- Interleading rooms are available on request in writing

General Booking Terms
• A deposit of 20% will secure your reservation
• Deposits are non- refundable
• Balance of accommodation account is payable 4 weeks prior to date of arrival
• Minimum of 5 night stay over the period 20 Dec- 2 Jan
Cancellation Policy
• Cancellation within 30 days of arrival 100% of accommodation payable
• In the event of premature departure the full extent of accommodation as originally booked and confirmed will be charged
• Refunds and the waiver of the cancellation policy are at the discretion of management and the ability to re-let the room.
