Caring for destination
Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:
Giving back to the local Stellenbosch community by supporting the Lynedoch School's Child Leadership Program.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Bikes ‘n Wines' agenda involves not only providing a lasting experience for its tourists but also giving back to the people living in the Stellenbosch Wine area. R10 from the sale of each ticket will go towards the Lynedoch School's Child Leadership Program and will be used to send children on leadership programs that will better their future. As many of these children's parents and relatives work on the surrounding wine farms, we have taken every care to ensure that we interact only with wine farms involved in fair and legal labour practices.
